IRHA President Criticises RSA Despite Increase In Learner Permit Numbers

Offaly saw the largest increase in numbers over the past 12 months.

The President of the Irish Road Haulage Association is calling out the RSA for learner permit holder figures.

As of the end of March, there 388,090 learner permit holders on Irish roads, representing an increase of over 6,200 compared with the same period last year.

The largest increase in the midlands was Offaly, which saw a 5% increase, while Westmeath's figure grew by 3.5%.

Laois saw an increase of just under 3%.
