Participants will be hoping for clear skies today.
Excitement is building in Laois ahead of a tandem skydive for people with physical disabilities today.
The Portlaoise and Naas Rotary Clubs will have people from the Portlaoise Irish Wheelchair Association, the VIP Hub in the town and the Naas branch taking part.
It's inspired by a French rotary club who have successfully started the concept in the town of Matha.
Laois County Council sponsors today's dive in Clonbullogue Airfield, with the club also seeking a national sponsor in hopes to spread the event to clubs across Ireland in the future.
