A Laois couple have spent over €10,000 on medicinal cannabis since April to help their daughter who struggles with Dravet's Syndrome.
Anthony Knowles, father of Mary-Claire, says he is seeing an big difference as she is more relaxed and her speech has improved.
The syndrome is type of epilepsy that is drug resistant - which causes seizures and delays in development.
There are two medicinal cannabis products called Aurora High CBD Oil Drops and CannEpil, which have been approved and registered for use in Ireland under the new Medical Cannabis Access Programme.
