Laois is the midlands county that racked up the most complaints last year.
The legal services regulator is reminding consumers they're there to help with cases of alleged misconduct among legal practitioners.
The LSRA says 64 per cent of the complaints it received last year related to misconduct.
Of the midlands counties, Laois had the most complaints with 16, Westmeath had 13, Offaly saw the least in Ireland but one, with 11 complaints.
Nationally, the highest amount were made against legal practitioners based in Dublin.
