The Taoiseach is being urged to meet with a midlands campaign group in relation to plans to prevent future flooding of the River Shannon.
The Save Our Shannon group held a number of protests in Offaly earlier this year, after bales of hay and silage were destroyed as a result of flooding.
Taoiseach Leo Varadkar says while it "won't be soon", he will reply to the invitation.
