The cost of the damage at Athlone Garda Station in January is estimated at just under €23,000.
A man charged with causing tens of thousands of euro worth of damage to a Westmeath Garda Station and a number of patrol vehicles has been sent forward for trial.
38 year old Adil Muhammed of no fixed abode is charged with causing criminal damage to Athlone Garda Station on January 25th.
He's alleged to have smashed a beer keg through the back windscreen of a white Hyundai Kona patrol car, as well as the windscreen of a Garda patrol van, as well as damaging the front doors, granite counter top, and glass front office window in the station.
The damage cost an estimated €23,000 euro.
Mr Muhammed will reappear before Mullingar Circuit Court on May 7th.
