A man is under arrest after a garda station was attacked with a sledgehammer in County Offaly.
The incident took place just after 8 o'clock this morning, when the front door of Tullamore Garda Station was smashed.
Gardai detained a suspect in his 20s and anyone who may have camera footage, and were in the area at the time, is being asked to make it available to investigating Gardaí.
