It's after an Offaly farmer lost 50 sheep in a dog attack at the weekend.
John Healy fears the dogs will kill again.
Gardaí are investigating the incident, which took place in the early hours of Saturday morning in Moneygall.
20 sheep were also killed in an attack in Kildare, while there has been reports of other incidents in Tullamore and Borris on Ossory.
