There's also been another increase nationally.
There's been a marginal increase in the number of people registered as homeless in the midlands.
196 people were without permanent accommodation in June, an increase of one on the month prior.
The figures represent the region's second consecutive increase in homelessness, after a significant jump in May.
55 adults accessed emergency accommodation in Westmeath last month, the largest number in the midlands.
That figure is followed by 51 in Offaly, and 29 in Laois.
61 children in the region were also without permanent accommodation.
Nationally, 14,303 people were registered as homeless in June, representing the highest figure on record.
The figures released by the Department of Housing do not include refugees, asylum seekers, women in refuge centres or rough sleepers.
