The organisation has applied for permission to re-purpose it's former place of worship.
An application has been filed to transform a midlands Jehovah Witness hall.
The Tullamore congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses wants the old Kingdom Hall on Clonminch Road in Tullamore be re-purposed into accommodation.
The building is no longer needed by the organisation after a new place of worship was built on Collins Lane in 2017.
A spokesperson says rather than see the property empty or disused it could be used as housing.
No concrete plans have been made for who would take over the property if planning is obtained.
