He passed away on Monday evening.
A midlands man who passed away following a motorcycle crash is being described as a "lovely man."
Tributes are being paid to Ferbane's George McDonagh, who died after a collision with a car on the N55 near Tubberclaire on Monday evening.
His former colleague says his passing was "very sad news," while another person who knew George says they had "great times" with him over the years.
He will be laid to rest this Friday at 10.30am in Our Lady Queen of Peace Church in Coosan.
George is survived by his parents Catherine and John, his brother Shane, and his sisters-in-law Amanda and Sinéad.
