Ireland ranks near the bottom of EU countries when it comes to mental health scores.
No one should be left waiting weeks or months for mental health support services.
That's according to the CEO of mental health charity Turn2Me, with the charity calling on the government to increase funding for mental health services in Budget 2026.
The 2024 Mental State of the World Report places Ireland near the bottom of EU countries in terms of mental health scores.
While the average additional annual cost of having a mental health difficulty in Ireland in 2025 stands at over €15,000.
