Failte Ireland is to launch a report to look into ways of encouraging more cruises in the River Shannon.
They'll examine the development of the cruise hire sector in Ireland over the next ten years and how it can benefit Offaly, Westmeath and the rest of the Hidden Heartlands region.
A study of cruise hire passengers in 2020 found over half were first timers and 90% said they would "definitely" do it again.
