A sizeable housing development in the midlands has been given the green light.
Offaly County Council has granted planning permission for 126 new homes on Collins Lane in Tullamore.
The submission to the local authority includes the provision of 102 houses, which would be a mix of two and three-storey dwellings, while the remaining 24 units will comprise of apartments.
A decision on the development was due last year initially, but Council reps sought further information first.
Planning permission was granted subject to 32 conditions.
