The school says it's "delighted" with the plans.
A midlands secondary school says it's 'delighted' after receiving planning permission for a new multi million euro building.
St. Joseph's in Rochfortbridge has been given the green light for a 9,000sqm, three-storey school building.
The development will see the demolition of the existing two-storey school building, to make way for the construction of the new site.
It will include 33 new classrooms, 20 specialist teaching rooms, four special education needs units, a general purpose hall, and student social spaces.
The school says it will also be fitted with upgraded facilities, and a more efficient site layout.
A 90-space car park and 100 sheltered bike spaces are also included in the planning file, which will allow the school to facilitate an increased number of students.
In a post on social media, St. Joseph's says they 'couldn't be more delighted' and are thanking anyone who supported the project.
