New Report Warns Of “Poor Liquidity” As Ireland’s Housing Market Stalls

Less than 50% of mortgaged homeowners relocated last year.

A new MyHome.ie report, warns that Ireland’s housing market is suffering from poor liquidity, with far fewer people moving home compared to England.

Just 0.4% of homeowners with a mortgage moved house last year, less than half the UK rate.

The report also calls for full transparency in online bidding portals to protect buyers from inaccurate asking prices.
