Domestic violence victims will be given a deposit of three months rent.

Safe Ireland says new rule changes around the rent supplement are key to helping women move away from abusive relationships.

The new government support, aimed at domestic abuse victims, will see them given a deposit of three months rent after being referred from Tusla, Gardaí or the HSE.
