The number of people receiving the Pandemic Unemployment Payment continues to rise in Laois and Offaly, but has fallen in Westmeath this week.
There are 22,601 people are in receipt of the income support in the midlands today.
A further 370 recipients have been added to the list in Laois since last week and 15 in Offaly, while 231 people have returned to work in Westmeath.
Almost 480,000 people across Ireland will receive the payment today, with over 144 million euro being paid out.
