An Offaly community is rallying around a local boy, who's been left with a serious brain injury after a cycling accident.
13-year-old James Saunders from Killeigh was hit by a car while out cycling last April and taken to Temple Street Hospital, where he remains ever since.
He faces a long road to recovery - requiring intensive treatment, including speech and language and physio therapy.
A GoFundMe page has been set up to raise €50,000 for James and his family - with a '70s/80s disco fundraiser also taking place this Saturday night in Tullamore Rugby Club.
