The Birr Publicans Group is telling the Vintners Association of Ireland it's failing to represent its members effectively in the face of continuous price increases from Diageo.
The group says it's aiming to remove Diageo products in favour of alternative brands in the coming weeks to protect customers and local business.
It's also warning of an intention to pursue a local media campaign on the issue.
