Fianna Fail's Tony McCormack says it's needed to keep commuters closer to home.
An Offaly TD says more commuters will be able to stay closer to home following a new IDA Ireland investment in the Midlands.
That's according to Fianna Fail TD Tony McCormack.
26 hectares of land are being secured for a new enterprise and business park in Tullamore in partnership with the local authority.
It's also expected to create new jobs as the current business parks are at full capacity.
