Businesses in one Offaly town are getting a boost amid the lastest covid restrictions.
Tullamore and District Rotary Club, the Chamber of Commerce and Offaly County Council have devised a Street Furniture Scheme to help cafés and restaurants make the most of outdoor space while social distancing measures are in place.
Eight businesses have signed up to the scheme so far, which will allow them to purchase the Irish-made furniture at a discounted price - although interested traders will still need to apply for an outdoor licence from the local authority.
