Over 60 tractors are going under the hammer this weekend.
New Holland, John Deere and Massey Ferguson vehicles are among the items on offer at the Bord Na Móna Tractor, Machine and Tyre Auction, hosted by Wilson's Auctions tomorrow and Monday.
A Volvo Loading Shovel, a Hyundai Excavator and a large selection of dual tyres will also go under the hammer in the first auction, which kicks off tomorrow at 10am.
200 Lots of engineering equipment and agricultural accessories will be up for grabs at the second auction, which gets underway on Monday at 10am.
All machinery comes from a surplus stock at Bord Na Mona's Derrygreenagh, Rochfortbridge site.
Ricky Wilson, Director and Auctioneer at Wilsons Auctions says,
"We are delighted to set the dates for two auctions this May. With over 400 Lots to be offered at auction, our offsite team have been working hard preparing these fantastic auctions for both bidders and Bord na Móna.
Everyone is welcome to bid and I would encourage everyone to book a viewing slot and register as early as possible
ahead of the auctions. This auction will be a great opportunity for farming communities, machinery businesses and as well
as private buyers. This is an auction not to be missed."
