Laois lead the way on social housing delivery.
Over 600 new social homes were brought on stream in the midlands last year.
New figures from the Department of Housing show 506 of those were newly-built social homes.

Nationally, the government brought 10,263 new social housing units on stream last year, falling substantially short of the annual target of 11,820.
