A GPR survey found several anomalies.
The previous excavation at a mother and baby home is being described as "inacurate" with a strong possibility of there being more remians on the site.
The Commission of Investigation into mother and Baby Homes previously found 42 babies buried on the Angel Plot at Séan Ross Abbey in Roscrea.
TST Engineering have recently consucted a survey of the site using ground penetrating radar.
Several anomalies were identified across the plot at 2 metres down.
1,090 babies from the home are currently unaccounted for.
