A number of homes across the region have already seen water restored since Storm Éowyn on Friday.
Uisce Eireann says restoring water supply throughout the Midlands following Storm Éowyn is a "dynamic and changing picture".
In Offaly, an outage in Walsh Island has left over 1,000 people without water with the alternative supply in Rhode still in place.
While water has been restored to a few areas across Westmeath including Kinnegad, Killucan, Rathwire and Castletown Geoghgan.
Other areas in the county such as Gaybrook, Gainstown and Rathconrath are still seeing outages at their pumping station - with Milltownpass, Gainstown and Coralstown providing alternative supply.
In Laois, the water supply has been mostly restored this afternoon except for an outage affecting 50 people in Derrygile near Mountmellick.
Uisce Eireann have apologised to customers for the disruption in supply.
