RSA Lacks Planning Ability For Drivers Test System - IRHA

Irish Road Haulage Association President Ger Hyland feels the test system should be taken away from the RSA.

The RSA is being accused of moving test appointments from commercial vehicles to cars in order to give figures a boost.

That's the view of the Irish Road Haulage Association President and Rosenallis's Ger Hyland, who is calling for responsibility for the drivers test system to be taken away from the Road Safety Authority. 

The association feels political pressure from Government led to standard drivers being prioritised over commerical ones, after a IRHA media campaign to reduce an overall backlog last April.
