A number of weather warnings are in now place for counties across the country.
Orange and yellow warning's for more heavy rain are now in place for counties in the midlands, the south east and the east of the country.
A yellow alert for Laois, Carlow, Dublin, Kildare, Kilkenny, Louth, Wexford, Monaghan and Tipperary continues until 3 o'clock tomorrow morning, with Wicklow and Waterford under the orange warning.
More heavy rain will fall on already saturated ground , and combined with high river levels and high tides it will lead to localised flooding, river flooding and difficult travelling conditions.
