'This Is Not A Good Deal For Ireland' - Midlands North West MEP

It comes following a 15% tariff.

'There is no upside for Ireland in this agreement.' 

That's according to Midlands North West MEP Ciaran Mullooly following the US-EU tariff agreement announced this week. 

Irish exports to America will now be hit with a 15% tariff - although the arrangement for the pharmaceutical sector has yet to be confirmed. 

He believes this is a damaging agreement for our exporters, and deals a major blow to Ireland’s agri-food and beverage sectors.
