Three people have been hospitalised after two separate car crashes in the Midlands yesterday.
Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of the single vehicle crash at Feraghfad in Longford at around 8.10am.
The driver, a man in his 30s, was brought to the Regional Hospital in Tullamore, while the passenger, a man in his late teens, was brought to the Mater Hospital in Dublin.
Both are being treated for serious injuries.
While a woman in her 40s has been hospitalised after being involved in a single vehicle crash on the N63 in Lanesboro at around 3.30pm yesterday afternoon.
The woman was brought to Tullamore Hospital for treatment to injuries not thought to be life-threatening.
