27 midlands students are receiving Entrance Awards from Trinity this year.
Students from across the country have been recognised for their excellent performances in their final school examinations by the college.
Westmeath have 12 students in total ranging from 11 different schools, with two coming from Athlone Community College.
Nine are being recognised in Laois from nine different schools, while six in are being celebrated in Offaly from five schools, with Coláiste Choilm having two recipients.
