Organisers of Europe's largest one-day agriculture event have decided to cancel.
The Tullamore Show has fallen victim to the pandemic for a second year.
Organisers of Europe's largest one-day agriculture event say it's with deep regret they've taken the decision to cancel this year's show, scheduled to take place this August at the Butterfield Estate.
They say all options were examined but, ultimately, there wasn't enough clarity or guidance from the government around outdoor events.
In statement this morning, the Executive said, "The Tullamore Show has faced many challenges over the years with cancellations happening due to weather, disease and now a global pandemic, however we assure you that 2022 will be bigger and better than ever. We look forward to seeing you at The Tullamore Show and FBD National Livestock Show on the 14th of August 2022."
