Two motorists in Laois are facing court appearances after being stopped by Gardai.
The Laois Roads Policing Unit stopped one motorist along the M7 yesterday using a mobile phone while driving.
Officers then discovered they also had no insurance.
In a separate incident in Portarlington a driver stopped also had no insurance and had two very warn front tyres.
Gardaí seized both vehicles.
