Waiting Times for Court Dates In Portlaoise Of Between Three And Six Months

The lists are equally as long in both circuit and district court.

Those facing a trip to Portlaoise District Court are waiting up to four months for a summons. 

It applies when waiting for criminal, civil offences and also guardianship applications. 

Similarly, people accused of criminal offences in the circuit court in Portlaoise are also waiting between three and six months for a trial.

The waiting times have been released as part of the annual Courts Report for 2019.
