Nicole Flattery is being appointed the Arts Council Writer in Residence at the University of Galway for 2026.
The acclaimed author, known for Show Them A Good Time and her novel Nothing Special, will take up the role early next year.
Her residency forms part of the Arts Council’s newly announced Artist in Residence awards, supporting 12 artists across seven universities.
The residency will provide dedicated time and resources for the writer to further develop her work.
