Labour rep for Kinnegad Denis Leonard is hoping plans for Killucan Market House are approved.
A Westmeath councillor is advocating for more remote working hubs and retail in commuter towns.
Killucan Market House is currently the centre of plans to house a facility, alongside retail and a coffee shop.
Westmeath County Council is expected to make a final decision on the proposed development for the protected structure by August 10th.
Labour councillor for the area Denis Leonard says the Government is also looking for further funding to develop a co-working Hub and enterprise Centre for the Master's House in Kinnegad.
