A Westmeath councillor is urging the local authority to consider a local industrial park for his area.
Sinn Fein Councillor for Kinnegad David Jones feels a feasibility study should be completed to see if such a project can be set up in Delvin.
He says potential small business owners have been expressing their interest in having such a facility available, and says it could be possible if landowners lease their land for this purpose.
