Westmeath Immunologist Says COVID-19 Recent Spike Was Inevitable

The recent spike in Covid-19 cases was inevitable, according to a Westmeath immunologist.

123 cases have been detected in the past two days with public health officials fearing it could be the beginning of seeing cases that can't be linked to known outbreaks or close contacts.

The National Public Health Emergency Team says it will continue to monitor the situation closely over the next few days.
