The Waking of Willie Ryan, The Pilgrimage, and An Apology For Roses by Athlone's John Broderick are all set to get a new lease of life with Irish publisher Liliput Press.
An arts initiative under his name is currently underway in the town, with Westmeath County Arts Office and Lilliput Press hosting an event in Athlone Bookshop from 6pm to 8pm this Wednesday.
Creative writing lecturer Nicole Flattery from Westmeath will host a Q and A with author Catherine Prasifka, followed by readings from Athlone poets Tadhg Carey and Jackie Gorman.
