The peleton will take off from Portlaoise later today.
This year's Rás na mBan has landed in Laois.
Day Two of Ireland's biggest stage race gets underway in Portlaoise at 11:30am this morning.
Kilkenny's Mia Griffin claimed a home victory on day one in a sprint finish into Callan in a repeat of the first stage last year.
Today, the peleton, which includes Offaly's Ellen McDermott, will head from Portlaoise, on to Stradbally, Mountmellick, and Clonaslee before going up the Slieve Bloom Mountains.
More than 100 riders will then take on 'The Cut', a climb that's sure to spread riders all across the mountain ahead of a fast descent into the second half of the race.
The race then hits Mountrath, before following a loop through Aghaboe, Ballacolla, and Abbeyleix before returning to Mountrath for the finish at around 2.30pm this afternoon.
