Tipp man Willie Maher has already agreed to become the new Laois Senior Hurling Manager.
Waterford hurling legend Dan Shanahan is convinced that Laois have secured a "great man" in Willie Maher as the county's new Senior Hurling Manager.
Dan is working in Willie's backroom team at Bennettsbridge in Kilkenny this year, but hasn't confirmed whether he'll join the Tipp man with the Laois setup for 2023.
Laois will be looking to bounce back from a difficult year, which saw relegation from the Leinster Championship.
It's the first Senior intercounty managerial job for Willie, but Dan Shanahan thinks Laois have picked a good one:
