Tommy Hewitt's side raced in to a 1-0 lead against Peamount United through Chloe Singleton but were pegged back by Kate Mooney shortly after.
Erin McLaughlin put the Dubliners ahead before half time, and a Karen Duggan penalty sealed the win with ten minutes left on the clock.
Tommy Hewitt talked to Sean Comber of Midlands 103 after the game:
The midlanders will be involved in new all-island competition for women's football teams this summer.
It's been confirmed the competition will feature 11 teams from the League of Ireland and five from the Northern Ireland Football League.
The 16 participants will be split into four groups of four, with the group stage set to begin on June the 18th.
The final will take place on the 16th of July.
