Athlone Boat Club is the big winner with a €72,000 boost.
Sporting Organisations in the midlands are set to receive almost €1m in funding.
Under the Sports Capital & Equipment Programme groups in Laois will get €312,263, with €236,189 for Offaly and €393,777 for Westmeath with over €70,000 going to Athlone Boat Club.
The funding is being given to clubs to increase participation and ensure young people enjoy benefits sport has to offer.
