One in six social housing offers were refused in Laois last year.
The local authority made 383 offers to applicants in 2022, 63 of which were turned down.
So far in 2023, 204 offers were made with 21 refusals.
An applicant is out of the running for social housing for a year, if they turn down two 'reasonable offers.'
