'Glasson to Protect' was created three years ago.
A community partnership between Westmeath villages is helping keep them clean while strengthening local connections.
That's according to Gillian Buckley of the Tubberclare Community Group, who says volunteers are being inspired to come together through clean up initiatives and local events in Glasson.
'Glasson to Protect' was established three years ago after the pandemic to tackle isolation and build a stronger sense of community.
Since then, the group has organised Easter, Halloween and Christmas events, as well as supporting local GAA activities and hosting a Childline breakfast.
