UPDATE: The road has been re-opened.
Emergency services attended the scene of a crash in Laois this morning.
A car entered the ditch on Portlaoise to Mountmellick road, near Kyletalesha, at approximately 6.10.
Diversions were put in place while gardaí and Laois Fire and Rescue Service dealt with the incident.
One man was taken to Tullamore Regional Hospital for treatment to non-life threatening injuries.
The road has since reopened.
Motorists are being warned of treacherous conditions on the roads following falls of snow overnight.
