Mr Burke says he intends to contest his dismissal from Wilson’s Hospital School.
Jailed former teacher Enoch Burke is considering launching a legal challenge to the termination of his employment at a Westmeath School.
The Irish Independent is reporting that during a review of his detention for contempt of court yesterday he indicated he does not accept his dismissal from Wilson’s Hospital School was lawful.
He also claimed Mr Justice Brian Cregan had not been impartial in his handling of the case and had "coached" lawyers for the school.
Judge Cregan said the teacher’s remarks are "ridiculous" and "absolute nonsense".
During the hearing Mr Burke declined an opportunity to purge his contempt of court by promising not to trespass on school property.
His detention will be reviewed again on June 24th.
