Marcin Nowosielski passed away in the collision earlier this week.
A fundraiser has been launched to repatriate the remains of a man who was killed in a Westmeath crash.
Marcin Nowosielski and his car were discovered in Castlepollard on Tuesday evening, however, it's believed the collision may have occurred on Sunday.
The Polish native had been living in Collinstown for 13 years.
A friend of his has started a GoFundMe to repatriate his remains back to his home town of Czestochowa.
Over €2,600 has already been raised.
