The incident happened in Mullingar.
Gardaí are investigating a robbery and alleged assault in Westmeath.
The incident occurred in the early hours of Sunday morning, at Blackhall Place in Mullingar.
Two women in their 20s and 40s and a man, in his late teens were assaulted.
They have been taken to hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
Investigations are ongoing.
