The appeal is being run by Athlone and Mullingar Garda Stations.
An appeal is out for people to make Christmas cards for older people in Westmeath.
Gardaí are looking for children and adults, to hand make cards with a positive message and drop them off at Athlone or Mullingar Stations.
They will be delivered to any elderly or vulnerable persons living in the county over the Christmas period.
Anyone interested in taking part has until December 6th to drop off their work.
